Job Description:
Nursing Assistant PRN
Job Summary:
The Nurse Assistant assists the nursing staff by performing selected routine duties in caring for patients. All functions must be within the scope of training and instruction received and are under the supervision of a Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
The following is a summary of the major functions of this individual's job. He or she may perform other duties, both major and minor, which are not mentioned below, and specific functions may change from time to time.
Assist with basic physical care as directed by RN staff
Demonstrates organizational care
Maintains a safe environment for the patient according to policy and procedure
Participates in responsibilities of the unit.
Requirements:
CNA preferred
Hospital Experience Preferred
